Do you provide a warranty for moss?
Yes. We can provide you with a paper copy of a 2-year no moss warranty.
Beyond the 2 years, we strongly recommend you hire us back every 2 – 3 years to do a light roof re-spray in order to kill any new moss spores on your roof. Re-spraying will also kill any new algae growth on your roof… This will actually help to keep the cost of maintenance down in the long run as we won’t need to come back and remove the moss again.
We have many customers who have stayed on this schedule for years and their roofs have remained completely moss-free since the original clean.
What do you do with the moss once you’ve removed it from my roof?
Once we scrub off all the moss, we do a full Roof Sweep/Blow of Tree Debris from your roof. This includes a ground cleanup of any moss/tree debris from the roof.

Do you use a pressure washer on my roof?
Absolutely NOT! We do not recommend using a pressure washer on your roof. For our Coquitlam Roof Cleaning service, we utilize the methods that are outlined by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association.
We also do not use a pressure washer for concrete tile or clay tile roofs as this can cause serious damage to your home.

Will my plants or outdoor furniture get damaged during the roof spray?
No. We always have a 2nd person on-site while the technician is applying the roof spray treatment to your roof. The 2nd technician will be on the ground using a gentle garden hose to water your plants, fences, furniture, and any other items we wouldn’t want to get damaged.
We just ask that you bring any patio cushions or shoes and other knick knacks inside that you don’t want to get wet from the water.
Do I need to notify my neighbours?
That would be very helpful!
We kindly request your help in informing your neighbours about our upcoming roof spraying procedure. This precaution is helpful as we will be having a 2nd technician on-site using a garden hose to keep everything wet & prevent any damage. If we notice any vulnerable plants on your neighbours side of the fence, we’ll want to ensure that we water them appropriately.

Can you do this work rain or shine?
Unfortunately, for our methods, we only offer this service in dry weather conditions. If it’s raining on the day of your scheduled appointment, we will reschedule with you for the next dry day.
What can I do to prevent moss growth on my roof?
There are a few things we recommend to keep your roof moss-free.
- If your roof tends to collect lots of leaves and other tree debris, we recommend hiring us to come annually and provide you with a Roof Sweep/Blow of tree debris (or more frequently if needed) to prevent the buildup of debris on the roof. Too much debris left on your roof doesn’t allow the opportunity for the area to dry out with some sun and will stay damp… Thus creating the ideal environment for moss growth.
- Every 2 – 3 years, we strongly recommend having us come back and do a light roof re-spray of your roof. This will keep the cost of maintenance down as we won’t have to do Step 1 Moss Removal again, and we can keep the mix lighter since there shouldn’t be any new severe moss to kill yet. Customers who stay on this schedule tend to keep their roofs moss-free and keep the maintenance simple yet effective at maxing out the lifespan of their roof… Which can cost thousands of dollars to replace.
