Are you a fully insured company in case any accidents happen?
Absolutely! We have 2 Million liability insurance and are fully covered by WorkSafeBC.
We can provide the documents to you upon request, just let us know!
Do you provide a warranty for moss?
Yes. We can provide you with a paper copy of a 2-year no moss warranty.
Beyond the 2 years, we strongly recommend you hire us back every 2 – 3 years to do a light roof re-spray in order to kill any new moss spores on your roof. Re-spraying will also kill any new algae growth on your roof.
What do you do with the moss once you’ve removed it from my roof?
Once we scrub off all the moss, we do a full Roof Sweep/Blow of Tree Debris from your roof. This includes a ground cleanup of any moss/tree debris from the roof. We ensure your property is tidy before we start the Roof Spraying process.
Do you use a pressure washer on my roof?
Absolutely NOT! We do not recommend using a pressure washer on your roof. For our Coquitlam Roof Cleaning service, we utilize the methods that are outlined by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association.
We also do not use a pressure washer for concrete tile or clay tile roofs as this can cause serious damage to your home.
Can roof cleaning prevent moss and algae growth in the future?
Yes! Once we apply the spray treatment, all of the moss spores on the roof will be killed and wash away with some rain. This should keep your roof free from moss for ~2-3 years. Like anything on your home, you need to maintain the work done. So we recommend getting light roof-resprays to keep your roof completely moss free.
Our loyal customers who tend to stay on this roof re-spraying schedule have had moss-free roofs for years. Some even over a decade at this point.
An added bonus – By keeping up with light re-sprays, you will be keeping the cost of maintenance down as we won’t need to scrub the moss off again in the future. It’s a win-win for you!
Will my plants or outdoor furniture get damaged during the roof spray?
No. We always have a 2nd person on-site while the technician is applying the roof spray treatment to your roof. The 2nd technician will be on the ground using a gentle garden hose to water your plants, fences, furniture, and any other items we wouldn’t want to get damaged.
We just ask that you bring any patio cushions or shoes and other knick knacks inside that you don’t want to get wet from the water.
Do I need to notify my neighbours?
Yes please! It would be greatly appreciated if you could let your neighbours know that we will be spraying your roof. The reason is that we will have a 2nd person on site using a garden hose to keep everything wet in order to prevent damage. If we see any vulnerable nearby plants on your neighbours property, we will be watering them accordingly.
Can you do this work rain or shine?
Unfortunately, for our methods, we only offer this service in dry weather conditions. If it’s raining on the day of your scheduled appointment, we will reschedule with you for the next dry day.
